Punjab Government Launches Affordable Housing Scheme: "Apna Ghar Apna Chhat"
In a significant step towards providing affordable housing, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched the “Apna Ghar Apna Chhat” (Own Home, Own Roof) scheme. This ambitious initiative aims to address the housing needs of low-income families across the Punjab province.
A Dream Come True of Interest Free House Loan
During the inauguration ceremony held at Lahore’s Aashiana Housing Society, Maryam Nawaz emphasized the critical importance of owning a home. She acknowledged that those who already have a roof over their heads may not fully appreciate its value, but the desire for a home is an intense and deeply personal need for those without one. The emotional and financial security that comes with owning a home is a fundamental human necessity, and it is this need that the ‘Apna Ghar Apni Chhat’ program aims to fulfill.
