Big Relief in Blue World City's Development Charges
In a significant move, Blue World City (BWC) has announced a reduction in its development charges after extensive consultations and suggestions from the real estate community and its members. BWC is thrilled to announce significant changes to ease financial burdens and accelerate development progress.This initiative reflects BWC’s dedication to making development more affordable and accessible for its community.
Reduced Development Charges:
Initially, a uniform development charge of Rs. 230,000 per marla was announced. Recognizing the concerns and furiousness of existing members, BWC has implemented a revised structure.
Now, development charges range from Rs. 120,000 to Rs. 150,000 per marla, offering a substantial cost reduction. This revised structure ensures affordability while ensuring necessary funds for development.
Blue World City is a new City
It’s important to understand that BWC isn’t just a housing society; it’s a vision for a new, world-class city. Saad Nazir, a key figure at BWC, has revealed that the actual development cost per marla falls between Rs. 230,000 and Rs. 300,000. This means BWC itself absorbs a significant portion of the development cost, demonstrating its commitment to the project and its members.
Early Payments of Development Charges and its benefits
To encourage prompt payments, BWC announced that members who pay their development charges early will receive possession of the a plot and a further rebate. BWC rewards those who plan. Members who paid their development charges early received additional benefits:
Early Payment Rebates: These rebates generated a positive response, encouraging more than 5,000 members to settle their dues.
Fast-Track Possession: Early payment has unlocked possession opportunities for some members. BWC identified unutilized plots due to non-performance and allocated them to early-paying members, expediting their path to owning a piece of Blue World City.
Extended Deadline: In response to requests from BWC members, the deadline for paying development charges has been extended from June 30 to July 14. This extension provides additional time for members to take advantage of the reduced rates and early payment incentives.
Possession Office Setup
Members who make early payments will receive possession of their plots sooner. BWC plans to set up a possession office on-site to provide full support to members regarding design and all matters related to land and plot possession.
Incentives for Early Home Construction
BWC is offering substantial incentives for members who complete the construction of their homes by June 2025.
Construction Incentives: Members who complete the construction of their homes before June 2025 will receive a reward of Rs. 1 Lac per marla. This not only benefits homeowners but also accelerates the growth of Blue World City.
Rental Assurance Program:
5 marla homes: Rs 40,000 to 50,000
7 marla homes: Rs 50,000 to 60,000
8 marla homes: Rs 60,000 to 70,000
10 marla homes: Rs 75,000 to 90,000
1 kanal homes: Rs 125,000 to 150,000
Free Utilities: To further incentivize early habitation, BWC will provide free electricity and LPG gas for the first year to those who complete construction before June 2025.
Support for Members Facing Financial Difficulties
For members who may struggle to afford the development charges, a committee headed by BWC Sales Head Mr. Junaid will review cases on an individual basis.
This committee will consider payment history and personal affordability, offering potential discounts or extended installment plans to those in need.
Commercial Block Developmental Work
BWC also announced updates for the commercial segment, with a new commercial area planned between Sector 6 and 7. Early possession will be granted to those who make prompt payments. Progress is being made in the Overseas Block, and members are encouraged to pay their development charges to facilitate further development beyond Sectors 6 and 7.
